Visitor Center

At the Visitors Center located near the Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station you’ll find information about everything the memorial has to offer. You can also get an overview of the entire memorial grounds and receive information about other Berlin Wall sites in the city.

On the Visitor Center’s upper level, two short films are shown about the history of the Berlin Wall and the border system. Many different special events are also held in the rooms on this level. Please see the current program for more information. 

There is a specialized bookstore on the ground floor with literature about the history of the Berlin Wall and the division of Germany. Visitor terminals allow you to look up information about other Wall sites in Berlin and along the former Iron Curtain.
